Ahhhh. Well I put my Jeffrey Campbell Litas on and although I couldn't ride my bike in them, my plan was to walk to class in them. But I didn't wear them. And you all might think it's because it would be uncomfortable, but it actually wasn't. They were surprisingly comfortable but, I was so conscious of what other people were probably thinking that I took them off. This is such a stupid thing. I have been dressing the way I love to dress without caring about the thoughts of others but, something about this scenario really affected me and I don't know what it was. But I had paired it with this adorable Forever 21 dress and a red bandana tied as a headband. Back to the dress though, it was the cutest lace dress I have ever seen. It is slightly morbid, considering it's all black, but an all black lace dress-- v-neck, collared-- with a black slip below. I'll get a picture up for you all.
But until then. I will be working on gaining my lost courage here, and I hope everyone out there finds and holds on to theirs.

Heels on Campus
Today I encountered a tragic predicament.
Such a brief, yet immediate opening statement, yes, but I thought we'd jump straight into my existential( okay more like footwear) crisis.
Being a college student on a bike/walk friendly campus, your shoes need to have the ability to get you from point a to point b aka functional.
But being a fashion lover I also need those shoes to be adorable.
I've achieved great success so far with my Steve Madden gladiator sandals, black converse, combat boots, and simple black ballet flats.
Something is missing though.
And that something is the beautiful pair of Jeffrey Campbell litas I received for my birthday.
I brought those beauties up to school with me but, fear of complete lack of function and possibility of judgement stopped me from wearing them.
In a new environment it can be difficult to reveal your true identity among new colleagues but, hopefully I will be riding my bike around campus in my Litas soon enough (unless it is physically impossible, which would make me absolutely depressed.)
Well these are basically my mindless ramblings and two a.m. while my roommate snores.

Autumn and Flowers
Hey everyone.
Becca here with some quick updates.
I'll be trying to figure out how to configure this blog so it doesn't look as pathetic as it does now!
I'm currently invested in the Bazaar magazine with the beautiful, bright-lipped Gwen Stefani on it's cover!
I keep going back to the Prada advertisement at the beginning of the magazine because I am absolutely in awe of the bag being modeled.
I am DROOLING over these bags. I adore the floral detail. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
And in other news autumn weather is making its way into my town-- slowly but surely-- so pants and tights and thigh high socks will be crashing down here! The anticipation is killing me!
Hopefully, this blog will be in a better state by next week!

HELLO
Hello world of the fashion oriented internet!
I'm Becca.
And basically I have created this blogspot to put myself out there in the internet world of fashion.
My plan is to one day write for a fashion magazine so I figured I might as well start on my very own blog.
I'll have photos, my own personal reviews, and probably some other stuff on here; maybe even pictures of my own personal style and its evolution as I delve deeper into trends and styles that I might not have been exposed to before.
If you don't like, don't read.
